Membership Information

 

 

Grace Ministry International Fellowship (GMIF)

 

Established in 2000, GMIF is an international ministry with an Evangelical and Pentecostal distinctive, headquartered in Brownwood, TX (USA).  We provide a number of administrative and ministerial services such Ordination for Independent Churches and Ordination of the Ministers of the Gospel.   Our greatest service is to the small independent churches, churches that are seeking Pastors needing guidance through the process of selection, church planting, set-up church administrative staff, drafting and filing of legal documents for establishment of By-Laws, Incorporation and 501c3 status, ministry development structure and ordination & licensing of  non-denominational ministers.

 

Grace Ministry International Fellowship will exercise no ecclesiastical, governmental or administrative control over any of its member ministries.

Ø      G.M.I.F provides for those member ministries wise counsel and oversight upon their request. All membership services and benefits are optional to accommodate the needs of the member.

Ø      G.M.I.F. is open to men and women who are Pastors who head a viable functional independent ministry.

Ø      G.M.IF. will not discriminate against any race, ethnic or denominational background.

Ø      G.M.IF. is not a denomination, its mission is to complement and enhance a ministry's assignment.

  3. Monthly Administrative Support ($30 monthly is not meant to be a tithe.) The financial strength of G.M.I.F. will be the product of the commitment of its members. The finances will be used for administrative expenses and to fund group projects.

Ministry Registration and Consultation Services

 

We offer several distinctive services to Ministers and to churches.  Those who require services other than those outlined must request it in writing, to which we will respond.   Send all correspondences to bishopstephanson@verizon.net.  Services provided below in the Ministry Registration and Consultation services.

We offer ministry consultation on Church by-laws, Incorporations, EIN, 501c3, Organization Development, Grant Writing, Church financial Application Development/Software, other tax preparations and help in a wide number of areas. You simply need to communicate your situation to us and we will let you know what help we can offer and what costs there will be, if any. You will need to contact us in writing, giving as much information as you can so that we can assess your case fairly accurately.

 

Counseling for Ministers

 

We offer a unique counseling service for ministers and Christians who are going through difficulties like marriages crises.  All counseling is confidential and is normally done by ministers of the Gospel who are qualified members of professional counseling bodies such as the Association of Christian Counselors (ACC).  After the initial assessment session, counseling fees are normally between $25 between $40 per session, depending on your income.

 

Appointments

 

GMIF works on an appointments system, particularly in relation to Ordination applications.

 

Once your application for Ordination is under consideration, you may also request an appointment from time to time to update us on the progress of or new developments in your life and ministry.
